Overview

For this personal project, I used the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 dataset(last updated 05/31/2020) and Tableau to display the growth of confirmed cases and deaths around the world.

I started by building several Tableau worksheets including line and bar charts of the confirmed cases and deaths per country, province, and a geographic map of the global locations.

Once the worksheets were complete and formatted, I compiled them into a dashboard using containers for the layout. By placing the log scale line charts on top of the linear scale line charts in the same container, I was able to create a toggle between the two axis scales.
